IMI Accreditation Cosmetic Repair Senior Technician (Re-Accreditation)

Course Overview
This course is a re-certification assessment only, relating to cosmetic vehicle repairs. The assessment observes the skills required across three main disciplines including Mechanical Electrical Trim (MET), Body Repair and Paint Spraying to carry out a cosmetic vehicle repair from start to finish to the highest standard.

Who is the course aimed at?
The IMI Accreditation Cosmetic Repair Senior Technician (Re-Accreditation) is only for technicians who have previously completed the Cosmetic Repair Senior Technician (Full Route) and wish to renew their accreditation status before it expires. If more than 3 years has past and the accreditation date has expired, then technicians must undertake the Full Route assessment in order to reinstate their accreditation.

This course is an assessment of existing skills level and knowledge covering to the following assessment modules plus an online test.

• 3 Stage Pearlescent Application
• Aluminium Cosmetic Repair
• Cold Filler Repair
• MET – Remove, Replace, Refit
